We strive to be an eco-friendly clothing brand and locally sourced and made as possible. Most of our Great Lakes surfing & snow garments are crafted with sustainable materials & processes, including organic & recycled materials, low-impact dyes & water-conserving washes.
Our packaging is made from 100% recycled plastic and is 100% recyclable or reusable. We choose to not print any extra advertising or paper in our shipments. It is part of our mission to work towards being as reusable and responsible as possible.
We need wind to make waves, but we also need a good stretch of water for the wind to blow over to produce those waves, this is called fetch. What makes the biggest waves? The most amount of fetch and other factors such as the amount of wind over a period time in the same direction, wind temperature and water temperature.
