Q:  What is your age?

A:  I am 16 years old.

Q:  Where did you grow up?

A:  I grew up on the west side of the state for about two years then moved over to Ann Arbor when I was about 3 years old and I am still currently living there.

Q:  Do you listen to music while you ski? If so, who are you listening to lately?

A:  I usually prefer not to listen to music when I ski so that I can focus better.

Q:  How old were you when you first started to ski?

A:  I started skiing when I was 3 years old.

Q:  Why did you choose skiing over snowboarding?

A:  I chose skiing over snowboarding because my dad had always skied and I wanted to be like him and didn’t ever really consider snowboarding.

Q:  Do your parents ski?

A:  My dad skis about just as much as I do and my mom rarely ever makes an appearance on the slopes.

Q:  What trick are you currently working on?

A:  A trick that I am currently working on is a double cork 1440 as well as an unnatural double cork 1080.

Q:  What is your favorite trick to do?

A:  My favorite trick to do is probably a double cork 1080 because it is a fairly mellow trick for me but still a big trick.

Q:  What is your favorite food after a day of skiing?

A:  My favorite food after a day of skiing would have to probably be a piece of pizza.

Q:  Who was your first sponsor and how old were you when you became sponsored?

A:  My first sponsor was Rossignol Skis and I was 9 years old when I became sponsored.

Q:  Where is your all-time favorite place to ski?

A:  My personal favorite place to ski is mt. Brighton just because it is where I grew up along with the rope tows and all of my friends to ski with.

Q:  If you could travel anywhere to ski, where would you like to go?

A:  If there was one place I’d like to visit to ski it would be Switzerland, the terrain parks look great over there along with the huge mountains.

Q:  When there is no snow, what do you do for fun?

A:  When there is no snow I enjoy skateboarding and summer skiing on fake snow.

Q:  Any plans yet for after high school?

A:  I currently don’t have any plans after high school.  I will see how far my skiing takes me and the level that I am at and if I would like to pursue that career.
